Kyle Ogden, President and CEO of the Thanks-Giving Foundation, Honored with Dual Awards for Community Leadership

Kyle Ogden, President and CEO of the Thanks-Giving Foundation, has received two distinguished honors this spring, recognizing his significant contributions to the Dallas community and his commitment to fostering unity and civility. On April 23, 2026, Ogden was presented with the Stan Golden Men of Action Award by the Southwest Jewish Congress at the Texas Sized Event held at Edison’s. The evening brought together community leaders and residents for a celebration of service, connection, and impact, with WFAA anchors Chris Lawrence and Rebecca Lopez serving as co-emcees. The program highlighted individuals whose leadership continues to strengthen the fabric of Dallas, with Ogden’s recognition underscoring his ongoing influence and dedication.

Just one week later, on April 30, 2026, Ogden was also honored as a recipient of the Spirit of Civility Award from Common Ground USA at the Together We Dine gathering. This award recognizes leaders who exemplify respectful dialogue, collaboration, and the ability to bridge differences within their communities. Ogden’s work has consistently reflected these values, as he has prioritized creating spaces where individuals feel heard, valued, and connected.

Known for his thoughtful and steady leadership style, Ogden has long focused on building trust and strengthening relationships across diverse groups. His approach emphasizes that civility is an active and intentional practice—one rooted in listening, empathy, and shared responsibility. Through his leadership at the Thanks-Giving Foundation and beyond, he has played a key role in fostering meaningful engagement and encouraging dialogue that brings people together.

These dual recognitions highlight not only Ogden’s individual achievements but also the broader importance of unity, compassion, and community-building. His work continues to reflect and advance the mission of the Thanks-Giving Foundation, serving as a powerful example of how leadership grounded in respect and connection can create lasting impact across Dallas.
