From the beginning, Thanks-Giving Square has been an important place of connecting and convening. The Square hosted two presidents, the Dali Lama, Rosa Parks, and many other dignitaries. On July 8, 2016, Thanks-Giving Square called the city together to mourn the killing of 5 law enforcement officers. We gather for good times as well, most notably at our Annual National Day of Prayer Luncheon and, for over forty years, TubaChristmas.
