Big Horns, Big Holiday Spirit

‍Christmas Eve comes with a little extra brass at Thanks-Giving Square.

The 48th annual Tuba Christmas will bring 200 tuba players to downtown Dallas on Thursday, December 24, filling the Square with holiday classics and a sound as big and joyful as the season itself.

The free, family-friendly celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the concert beginning at noon. Enjoy food trucks, candy canes and a special visit from Santa.

The gathering carries forward a vision that began in 1964, when four Dallas businessmen founded the Thanks-Giving Foundation: bringing people of different backgrounds and beliefs together through gratitude. Tuba Christmas gives that vision a decidedly festive soundtrack, welcoming neighbors of every generation to share music, laughter and holiday cheer.

Bring the children, gather your friends and make this beloved Dallas tradition part of your holiday plans. There’s something wonderful about hearing familiar carols played by a sea of tubas—and sharing the moment with your community.

Join us rain or shine at Thanks-Giving Square, 1627 Pacific Ave. Free parking is available in the underground garage at Santander Tower across the street; bring your parking ticket for validation.
